Paul Cézanne, Card Players
Paul Cézanne, Card Players Consider shy Cezanne,
the lay of the land he loved,
its dumbstruck vanity polite and brute.
The bather in his sketchy suit.
The skull upon the mute pull of cloth.
In your taxing and tearing, tugging at art,
consider shy Cezanne.
His blushing apples.
His love of man.

I was anxiously waiting for you to start blogging again! Now I discovered that I missed a number of posts! Don’t worry, I have now read them all, watched, listened to Wagner… and got the proof why I so sincerely hoped that you would resume blogging! Hope there will be no immediate break again!
So i have to pull my blog out of the cold storage now. Claudia is here.
You have pleasant things to say. i am glad Claudia.
i have been lazy in responding to comments too on a painful subject.
i like artists who have traveled to different parts of the world Claudia, There are some lesser known artists like William Bouguereau, Jean Leon Gerome, Sargent, John Singer ? you should see his 'sketch of Santa Sofia; street of Venice, he has painted Monet at work, out doors not in his studio.
hope you are doing fine Claudia
